Rubicon Reserve Wines undertook the services of ChillyBin to design a showcase and informational platform for their wine investment division. The site brief was to design a clean interface and with a strong focus on information about the business and the services offered, it also had to convey a sense of wealth.

Wine-i was built for Rubicon Reserve Wines to showcase their investment division. The site was built on a static XHTML/CSS platform, utilising javascript for the navigational menu and is integrated with a newsletter subscription system. Wine-i are also, through the integrated mailing list software, able to publish and manage their own newsletters and database highlighting current promotions.

For many years I have watched the wine investment scene in Singapore with much amazement as good people through their hard earned money into investment schemes that if they were lucky might return their initial investment at some distant time in the future, but for many that was just not the case. In recent years, while I have been successfully trading wines for Rubicon private clients, we have been receiving calls from those poor unfortunate soles who are unable to recover their cash. As these calls are now starting to be an avalanche Rubicon had to create a site where people could find out the truth about wine investment, compare pricing and learn a little about the industry. As such Wine-i has been born.
