Overview
The Brief
Our friends at Foxtel reached out to us to create a new website for their tv channel TVHits. The channel is all about bringing customers their favorite crime shows all in one place. Although their current website suited their needs pretty well, it wasn’t mobile ready and was a bit outdated. Our job was to remedy this, and provide them with a clean and mobile ready website for their viewers.
The Solution
In order to get everything done for Foxtel according to their specifications, we started off by creating a custom responsive Genesis child theme based upon the templates we use on most of the other Foxtel websites that we’ve done, with minor changes made to keep things unique. An additional yet notable feature that we incorporated is having a tighter focus on branding of the different sub-pages for shows. Each show page now features the sections for things like episodes, videos, and characters for viewers to watch and read about pertaining to each show.
