Web development comes with it’s ups and downs, some really fun creative creative tasks and some mundane, boring ones. I think the most frustrating task is having to reload the browser page during development or debugging, but thankfully with LiveReload it doesn’t have to be this way any more!

LiveReload is branded as a “Web developer’s wonderland,” it’s a mac application that monitors changes in your file system. As soon as you save a file, the file is preprocessed as needed, and the browser is refreshed. Also, every time you change a CSS file or image, the browser is updated instantly without you having to reload the page.

A great useful time-saver for every Web developer’s toolbox.

Fractal

We’ve just come across a real useful tool for those HTML email developers out there, it’s called Fractal. Fractal is a tool developed by Campaign Monitor that validates your HTML and CSS through a number of reputable sources, including the highly regarded Email Standards Project and lets you know which clients your email will and won’t work in. Fractal also flags the parts of your code that are unlikely to work, and gives you suggestions on how to fix the problems.
