Miami Horror

ChillyBin recently launched a new website and myspace design for Melbourne’s favourite psychedelic indie-electronic adventurers Miami Horror & designed a promotional site for Miami Horror to showcase their upcoming CD release ‘Illumination’. The site provides fans a one stop repository for all things Miami Horror, including streaming mp3 audio, photo gallery, video archives, tour dates, online store, as well as news, biography, track listings & social networking links.

The website for Miami Horror was built for the WordPress Content Management System, and utilises core SEO enhancements. The artwork involved with the Miami Horror project was so strong that we decided to incorporate the album artwork as a large focal point of the design. Utilising jQuery transitions we made it possible to showcase the imagery as background images throughout the bands official site. Alongside an integrated MP3 player, we also linked and imported their existing BigCartel online store & provided an easy-to-use system for organising their vast number of ever changing tour dates. As well as the official website, ChillyBin also redesigned Miami Horror’s MySpace profile to match with the new website design giving the band an easy way to keep in touch with their social network while keeping the design consistent across all sites. The Miami Horror & EMI Music Australia team now have full access to update all the content on their website in a quick and easy system which gives them highly detailed analytics across the whole website.
