As this is a new venture, the brief was to develop using state-of-the-art technology which would seamlessly show a similar experience no matter what device it was viewed on (Laptop, Desktop or Mobile). For this we decided to use HTML5 and JavaScript for the website and was integrated with the CushyCMS Content Management System to allow easy administration of all aspects of the website for staff members. The design brief was to use the stunning imagery provided and to have those images show full screen on any device. The content areas were designed to fit the height of the browser window to provide a similar experience across all devices. We decided that providing a full HTML menu would be advantageous over providing just a PDF (as many restaurants do) especially for SEO. We were really pleased with how it turned out.
